Typically, you start some light ROM work in the hospital and when you get home.  Within a week or two, you start regular PT sessions at a facility at least 2X/week.  This PT is done for 8-12 weeks.  By then, almost everyone has achieved or is close to the 0 / +120 goal.  Exceptions will be people with massive amounts of scar tissue and who will need an MUA, the elderly, people with pre-existing knee or leg conditions, etc.

Everyone is different.  You may do this faster or take an extra month.  There is no predictor on how you will fare with the therapy.  You just have to do the work, take your meds and be patient.  Here are some exercises for home...

#3 is a killer...have a pillow to scream into and make everyone leave the house.

hi, I had mine on 31 Jan too.  I have one bruise around knee.   still hurting a lot.  still having trouble sleeping.  worse surgery I have ever had.    PT hurts like hell, right???

My surgery was January 15th and my bruising went all the way up my inner thighs and down my shins and areas around my knee cap. My bruising went away fairly fast. Everyone's different. But when I take a shower/bath, my incisions and the skin around them turn horribly purple and red. It goes away after awhile.
