If I was in your position I would be getting myself checked out by a good chiropractor now as they can sort out our back and a lot of pain can be found to stem from back issues. I would suggest that you pick one who is not using the McTimoney technique.
Cheers Richard

Crutch(s) are simply AWFUL (not an option in my book) fk all the bulls**t, get a walker, one of the 3 wheel ones that folds (easy mobility, specially narrow doorways and such).
What kind of pain are we talking about here? Now in mt specific case i had god aeful Avascular Necrosis ( resulting in the dislocation of my female head from the Anctabellum or something.... basically my leg dislocated for my body four times in March and so yeah basically pain now is nothing it's like did you just tickle me? Like no joke nothing besides emotional pain could top that and that's just feelings once I learn how to control those and be able to fully take control of my mind I will be straight up phenomenal! This new hip is amazing and I just got it on April 2nd and the other day I was off roading like it was nothing shoot a week after the surgery I was trudging through the desert in heavy boots marching actually... I was actually a little scared because past a certain point I could not feel my body and I thought I was dying LOL my boyfriend told me I was crazy and I'm like dude you will never know my pain shut the f****** LOL anyway after that walk pain? What pain? God is good all the time too bad I'm not saying that Praise In This Heart of mine anymore... I know I meant for better things but the people share my life right now need me in many different ways and I have to just do what I know I need to do but that doesn't matter to any of you LOL sorry I trailed off into to my personal s*** I had a full right hip replacement on April 2nd 2018 and ever since a week after that so like the 10th of April I'm better than good thank you so much Dr Bell most of all thank God anyway I hope everyone else is feeling at least a quarter of the way I am cuz you all deserve itGOD BLESS

As Richard says, get whatever medical help you can, I used a sports physio for muscle problems and an osteopath for skeletal issues. Together they helped to sort me out.
Best wishes

Dear Graham
As you will know having ones back in a good balanced state is very important so I am a great believer in that if one has a pain that is not easily explained away then the back is the first area to investigate. It is also worth reminding members that an understanding of what are known as "pressure points"

Sorry but that went as I was typing! Yes an understanding of "pressure points" is really worth investigating. I have previously mentioned this but have no idea if anyone was interested but I find that I can remove some sorts of back and muscular pains myself using these techniques. Twenty odd years ago my chiropractor taught me about pressure points and I have used them ever since to very good effect.
Cheers, Richard

Last night I fell asleep rubbing the tightness in my back and slept on my hand. Feels worse than ever today
The pain seems either to come from acrossy lumbar region or in the front of my leg.
Either way I could do without it!
Hope you find a solution soon .

I am 13 weeks post surgery. Generally doing ok, but nagging hip/thigh pain. Started doing some mild McKenzie stretches at the advice of my PT. Seems to help quite a lot.
