Another HoLEP Experience in progress

Got a lot of good info off this site, so time to give back.
I have BPH issues of weak stream and an incident of acute urinary retention with a trip to the ER, along with a bunch of almost visits to the ER. I also have prostate cancer, G3+3=6. I am doing surveillance of the cancer, and chose HoLEP to resolve the BPH and to make me suitable for radiation treatment for the cancer if needed. Prostate size is 140cc. Well, it was 140.
Had the HoLEP on Monday, and it is Thursday. Stayed overnight while they ran a 55 gallon drum of saline through the bladder, released next morning after successful void trial. Successful but messy, I'll mention. The surgery was under general anesthesia, 2.5 hours.
Used pullups the last two nights to catch dribbles, and pads during the day. Very little pain at all. Continence rapidly coming back, although I have to think about it.
Will update with progress and answer questions. So far so good.

I am in the UK and had HOLEP to completely remove my highly enlarged prostate 5 months ago. Post Holep, my bleeding stopped within about 2 weeks, I only have to go to the bathroom once during the night and I generally go every 2 to 3 hours during the day. However, I do have minor leakage between pees at all times and I always use pads and Tena incontinence pants to protect my clothes and the bed.
I do regular Kegel exercises to try to stop the minor leakages and, at the suggestion of my surgeon, take mirabegron daily. I also avoid alcoholic drinks and drink decaf tea and coffee.
I would like to hear of others in the same situation and any suggestions for stopping these small, but annoying, leakages.
It may be that, at 80 years old, I will have to live with these leakages. I am, after 10 months with a catheter, at least back to normal physical work like mowing the lawn. cutting hedges and going for walks.

About 18 months out now. Zero problems, plumbing works great. Orgasms are dry now, as expected. Everything's worked out great.

Mike,
Thanks for all your posts. Very helpful. I think you wrote that you had it done in Hershey. Is that PA? Who was the surgeon?
