as far as the calories are concerned you should aim to have less than a normal daily average which for a woman is 2000 a day, a lot of people on here aim for about 1500 but its up to you really as these only work on the fat.
as for your night out, go for it and enjoy it, it'll make it easier for you to stay on these if you have a meal off every now n then. i would advise perhaps stopping the tablets at lunch on the day, enjoy your dinner and then eat like you're on the tablets the next day and start the tablets the day after that - thats what works for me and my body, everyones different though.

Welcome to the forum :D
I found keeping food dairy really helped. I used a A5 size A-Z book into a personal fat& calory counter. I did become obsessed with food for a few months but it did make me rethink what I ate and made me think what I really couldn't do without and find a lower fat alternative. Enjoy your night out, having something to look forward to helps you stick to low fat most of the time.
If you do slip up don't beat your self up but try and be extra good.
Good luck :D

I don't know??? Are you getting weighed the same time of day? We also weigh more different times of the month. I try and not go on the scales more thn once a week, sometimes I weigh more or the same for a few weeks and then suddenly show a loss. The important think is to perserve and use this experience to re-educate yourself to make the right choices and eat more healthier now and when you are no longer on the tablets. Don't give up if you perserve it will pay off. :D :x
