Another period after menopause!

Hi! I am feeling nervous over here! A few weeks ago I felt like I was ovulating then cramps, sore breasts and spotting red for a few days. A few day later I stopped bleeding but feel worse with cramps and some weird stomach pains. My gyno scheduled an ultrasound before I go see her next week. If this was something serious would you get hormonal symptoms like sore breasts etc? It really seemed like a period but why is it lingering?

Thanks for responding! Glad to know I'm not alone. When was your last period before this? The stomach pain is also in the middle of my stomach and top right though its not bad pain.

Might mean you have to start counting again to see if you are really done after a year. It's good you are getting the ultrasound. Better safe than sorry. You really could have just been having a period or fibroids could cause bleeding and if it anything else they will get in there right away. I spoke to a woman whose periods came back after she stopped eating fast food every day and started eating healthier. One woman started getting periods when she had hormone replacement pellets put in so she stopped.

My last period I had was in 2015 and then on October 6th I started to feel like I was going to start my period all of the symptoms and then I just started spotting like for 2 weeks and then on the 19th I started a full-blown. And that was like for a good 2 days and just started spotting after that. over a week ago I had a abdominal ultrasound and she said that it was a fibroid and that I had endometrial hyperplasia. I am just so over this I just want to get a hysterectomy and get this over with I'm done. I thought I was done with bleeding in 2015 I am not ready to keep bleeding and using pads it's just so exhausting. I have a new doctor and I hope she will be behind me with my decision on getting a hysterectomy because if she's not then I will switch to a doctor who will. she wanted to schedule me for a painful endometrial biopsy which plenty of my friends have had and they are agonizingly painful. I mainly want to have a hysterectomy because I do not want to leave any room for any cancer down the line. in the abdominal ultrasound they said my right ovary was fine but that they really couldn't see the left one and the left one is the one that I usually have a tiny bit of pain and I used to have pain in that one when I used to have Cycles many years ago.

So frustrating right? Maybe the biopsy wont be so bad. I heard some say it wasnt too bad. I did have hyperplasia a few years ago so maybe it is that?! Ultrasound tomorrow!

**karen , how are you doing with the hyperplasia ? I figured thats the reason why i spotting every now and then. Did you have lil blood clots every now and then when using the bathroom when you had hyperplasia ? Also, do you not have that anymore ? Thanks for your input. **

My Dr gave me progestin and that seemed to take care of it. I was bleeding a lot and yes with clots! I have had a lot of stress lately so maybe that caused this period?

Stress....BINGO ! Myself as well. Ibwas under tremendous stress all summer and last month for 1 day my ovary was kind of bothering me and went away....then oct 6th BAM the pms feelings etc. spotted for 2 weeks and oct 19th a full period for like a couple days....then tapered off. So annoying. ive changed my diet and exercise amd added alot of veggies to promote natural progesterone and lets see what happens. Ive had 2 leave alot of the stressers behind.....stress is a B*h and plays havoc on the body.**
