Hi Everyone. Has anyone with Lichen sclerosis got Fibromyalgia. Besides LS I have got a lot of other health issues. I cannot get the answer to my other health issues. Fed up with going to doctors , Fed up. My list of complaints is gettin longer by the day. It would be interesting to know. X

    I have Ulcerative Colitis, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Lichen Sclerosus, Oral Lichen Planus, Spondyloarthritis and if that's not enough I am Gluten, Lactose, Salicylate, and Sulfite intolerant.

    It does appear that once you get one autoimmune disorder others appear!  that's what happened to me anyway, not great, but you just have to learn to live with them, I know I do.  If I had to say what I think caused them all to pop up I would have to say stress!  I think stress and anxiety cause a lot problems for our bodies.

    The worse for me is the Salicylate intolerance, as salicylates are in everything, which means I can hardly eat anything.

    What other health issues have you got?

    Hello my friend.  Recognise my name?  I totally understand how you feel.  I have been gathering a host of Auto Immune conditions since I was a child, now in my 50s..  I wonder if you have thought about whether stressful times could relate to some of your problems?  I am positive this is true in my case!  Fibro too!  I know many of us from the forum are wondering the same thing.  Perhaps not many recognised these symptoms of Lichens, but they often talk about Auto Immune in general and talk about difficult times in their lives.

    Yes, I am right with you! Having all kinds of Health issues but the only things officially diagnosed have been the lichen sclerosis and fibromyalgia. So tired of spending time and money that I don't have only to be asked to repeat myself over and over to the same doctors while I am treated in a condescending and dismissive way. They then order the exact same routine tests they always order and wish me a very nice day. I am so frustrated and desperate for answers. The pain and fatigue make it so hard to function sometimes.
