my doctor has changed my medication to cefalexin has anyone took this and was it ok I am petrified as I have major anxiety towards medication there has been quite good reviews on this tablet.

    I was prescribed and took Cefalexin a long time ago for a week for a chest infection and found it good.

      Hi, I wondered if with this antibiotic you had the diarreah side effect. Ive had a terrible time with it non stop and my doctors office do not answer their phone. Im terrified of this side effect because I know it can develop into C difficile which is inflammation of the colon. Ive had a perforated ulcer in the past so anything to do with gastric issues petrifies me now. Im taking the Cefixime for fluid behind the eardrum (also horrible) and I dont want that to get worse either. Anyway I wondered if this antibiotic had given you bad diarreah?
