Anus/Buttocks/Penis/Thigh Pain/Some other annoying sensations, HELP!

Hi,

For the last 3/4 years I have experienced anus pain accompanied with penis, testicular, thigh, groin & buttocks pain.  The penile pain I experience is a  stinging/sore sensation that only occurs in the head (Rim) itself, I also have a sensation of my penis CONSTANTLY feeling wet at the tip (even though it isn't) this sensation makes my day to day life uncomfortable when around others, the wet feeling is also joined by tingling sensations which happens in my scrotum area.

As for the anus/buttocks pain, these symptoms are newer, and have been getting progressively worse as the months go by.  I've experienced the anus/buttocks pain for a couple years now, but this year it's been getting really bad.  As I sit here typing this up, it's literally all I can feel.  It's a saw/burning pain which seems to originate in the anus, but spreads to the back of my right leg, and right buttocks, but recently, I've even been experiencing pain in my left buttocks as well.  I also have a weird symptom, where if I lay in bed for to long, my left (Yes, only my left..) testicle will start to ache, which leads to my back aching - When I awake and get out of bed, the ache in both testicle and back die down.

My pain is a lot worse when I'm sitting down, when I'm up and moving it doesn't seem to be to bad.  I've visited the doctors a couple of times through the year and have been referred to see pain specialists (Only just got referred so it's going to be months before I see someone)  Any pain killers I take (Paracetamol, Naproxin, Ibuprophen, asprin/ Amitriptyline-For possible nerve pain) do not have any impact what so ever.  Some days the pain is more bareable that others, but so far this year, I have not had ONE day where I haven't been in pain/feeling very uncomfortable)

I am a 19 year old male, and have never had sex -  any ideas on what could be causing my symptoms?

Any help would be fab, and feel free to ask me any questions!

Would like to add, I'm in a very fit state and exercise daily (5 Miles riding/100 Pushups a day) I must admit, my diet is atrocious, so not sure if a change in diet would help my symptoms down below!

Sounds as if you may have some nerve issues rather than anything wrong with any specific body organ or area. Could you have had an injury causing a pinched nerve?

No,  Not that I can recall.  I have never had any injury's, near or where I am having the pain.  My doctor did prescribe me with amitriptyline a couple weeks ago, I am taking 10mg every night, but so far it has had no effect.  I have only been taking it for a couple of weeks.

Thanks for your response, Pepasan :-)

    Hi Jack,

Sorry to hear about your constant pain. Do you have any other strange symptoms anywhere else?

As Pepasan said it sounds like a neuropathy issue.

As you sound an outdoors sporty type person...

Have you ever been bitten by a tick? I very very small black bug?

People who get infected by a tick have some core symptoms and then some individual symptoms specific to them. I know it can effect / cause pain when sitting on a chair putting pressure on Semimembranosus muscle area / underside innerside portion of legs and in testicle area.

Make sure you follow through with GP appointment.

      Hi Rease,

No I haven't been bitten by a tick before.  My GP did think it could be nerve related so I'm on 10mg of amitriptyline a night to see if that helps, I've been taking it for couple weeks now and it hasn't drained any of my pain.

I do have other symptoms, but I think they are completely unrelated to my pain.  Everyday (for years now) I get muscle twitches all over my body, arms, legs, head, buttocks (Anywhere Imaginable really...) I did raise it with my doctor but he dismissed it.  Other than that, all of my symptoms were stated in my original post :-)

      Thank you

It sounds very much like prostatitis to me . Have a google of the symptoms of this condition.

I have it myself , symptoms vary from man to man but I have had nearly all your symptoms. It’s distressing and can be painful and uncomfortable but it’s not too serious .

The pain in your anus is typical of the prostate throbbing .

If you are in the UK Google prostatitis NHS

      Hi Cooper,

I have thought of prostatitis before, but the main symptoms listed on most websites suggest pain/problems with weeing, which I've never experienced, to add, most the websites I have looked at in the past, Thigh/Buttocks pain doesn't seem to be listed anywhere as a symptom (this is my main problem atm)

do/did you experience pain in your buttocks/down the back of your legs & do/did you experience the usual symptoms (pain when urinating/problems urinating)

Thanks a lot for your reply! smile

      Regards,

      Jack

    Hi Jack

Buttock / top of thigh pain is very typical of prostatitis and yes I have certainly experienced it . I have had difficulty urinating but never pain while irinating  . Difficulty urinating is often caused by the prostate being inflamed and squeezing the Uretha .

On my second severe bout it all started with pain in the anus and discomfort in the buttocks and I agree most sites don’t mention this unless you delve a little deeper . It really is a condition that has such a myriad of symptoms it’s not easy to diagnose. Mine was officially diagnosed after multiple tests were all clear and it finally showed up on a prostate biopsy

Take a look on the prostate part of this site . Lots of men have such varying symptoms .

      Hi Darren,

Thanks for your reply. I will take a look into it on this site further, and will raise it when I visit the pain clinic in a month or two.

Thanks a lot for your help
