Been using Sertraline 50mg daily now for 3 months and over the last 2-3 weeks my mood has taken a daily dip and my anxiety in medium stress situations is awful, snapping when several people talk at once or if the TV is too load or a member of family talks fast, even my children are noticing when I say keep the noise down a bit, they say it's really not that loud or they can't hear tv when I've turned it down, any ideas as is really effecting mist things now

Hi Paul you are not alone. I'm on 50mg and have been now almost 8 weeks I felt really good and calm from week 3 to about week 6 and from week 7 to now I'm still calm but get really annoyed quickly. I'm also having this blurred vision which is a pain. My doc said it takes a good three months to really feel the benefit. I don't know about you but I'm still getting a bit anxious especially in the morning plus alot of tingling and brain zaps. What a lovely journey we are on.😂
Please let us know how it goes.

I should think that you wouldn't be having that daily dip thing going on. I have had something like that since going OFF Sertraline rather than when I was on it.
Perhaps you should consult your doctor?
My anxiety has been really tough. I'm trying hard to power through. I want to go back on this drug very badly but I am forcing myself to stay away from it.
I have it here in the house and I may get rid of it and avoid that temptation.
This drug was so helpful to me when I was on it, but for over two year. I want to know officially what I am like without it. I want to be me and see what me is like. I think I'm still experiencing some withdrawal.

Yes I have become noise sensitive too and have become very aggravated by the strumming of violins used in most action films. I too can't stand being spoken to by more than one person at any one time. My husbands family are the worst offenders of this! Funnily enough I have problems hearing the TV at times so am constantly adjusting the volume. Thank God for remote controls! Haha!
I had been on 50mg of sertraline for 2+ years but not for anxiety. Got low mood due to my painful condition. Due to a prospective change in meds, my doc just told me to stop the sertraline and I hit a brick wall. 2 weeks on I'm coping surprisingly well without it although do get ringing in my ears still.
To to your G.P. as it's not fair on your children to have a grumpy parent. Will only cause u more anxiety too, because I'm sure you're feeling guilty at being snappy towards them.

Not for you I'm sure, but it is slightly reassuring to know that It's not just me with these quirky agrrivated times, prior to my injury and subsequent diagnosises I was so placid and laid back, get on with anyone, help anyone kind of guy so the last 7-8 months my wife and children has been so very patient, it's me that knows it's not fair on them to bare the brunt when I'm either in excruciating pain (for which I'm on slow release tablet and liquid for break through) or anxious with what they see as normal surroundings.
And this is how I'll start the conversation with the GP as its not just impacting my life but my wife and dependants also
