You need to someone to objectively examine you first.  A GP will do for now.  It does not sound like anxiety, but I would not rush to think about brain tumor.

Denise, it doesn't sound remotely like a brain tumour to me either (I'm a former neuro nurse) but I agree with Eleftherios. You need to get yourself checked by a doctor, if only to reassure yourself. It's quite possibly anxiety, or if it isn't there'll almost certainly a harmless explanation for your symptoms. Make an appointment with your doctor now.

There are plenty of us on these boards that have crazy feelings. I personally have felt drunk for over 6 yr everyday. Best advice I can give is to not let it freak you out. If you give the feeling a life then they will take over so don't let that happen. Go see your GP and have them do a blood test. Ask for them to check your Vitamin D and B12 and Iron and Magnesium levels. If all checks out you may want to consider an ENT or Neurologist next. They may ask you to do an MRi to rule out the bad stuff. I have read that only about 2% of people have brain tumors so try not to worry so much about it. Get yourself checked out.

Hi do you normally have dizzy spells...has that been around seperately since before you felt this feeling in your head?? I feel quite certain it is not a brain tumour by the way. If you don't mind me asking how old are you and any other health problems....migraine anything like that? Ear problems?

    Hi

Im a long term anxiety sufferer.

When mine first started I had an awful pressure, like someone pressing down on my head all the time.

My psychiatrist said it can be an anxiety symptom.

It did go with the correct antidepressant.

Have you had your eyes checked recently?  A lot can be told by an eye exam.
