Hey, deep breath it will go away in time. I've suffered debilitating anxiety day and night and panic and the first 12 weeks can be a bit up and down when taking citalopram. You say you have also had other medications that you have tried throughout your citalopram journey and this could possibly be the cause to your delayed recovery. Many medicines come with many side effects and citalopram definitely gets worse before you feel better and heightened anxiety is a massive one. Stick with just citalopram fir a few more weeks and give it time to settle without adding in other medication just yet. I know you can take diazepam if you are really suffering from panic attacks etc. But that's not recommended as it's highly addictive.
You are really trying to take the anxiety away and in torn you are fulling it. It's so hard to learn to accept it and stop fighting anxiety and let it be, but it's the only way to truly overcome it in my experience.

Thank you so much for your reply took me a while to get back to you new at this, but I really appreciate the help, yes the anxiety is so bad my hands and feet are burning 4 more weeks and I will be at 12 haven't taken the ativan yet but sure am struggling , it's the shakiness that's hard for me , taking calcium magnesium and l theanin helps a little , I am a registered natural product advisor, but you have to be careful what you take with the meds. not sure? would like the name of this book everyone is taking about, but so many requests afraid to ask. Thank you gain so much for getting backback, all the best.
