Anxiety about blood pressure reading

I have recently started checking my blood pressure at home, every day I have been getting a reading of 118/88 and now all the sudden I have gotten a very low reading and it is causing my anxiety to spike, am I just over thinking this or could something be wrong with my blood pressure monitor?

Throw the blood pressure device out.  Of course you blood pressure changes through out the day.  If you exercise, it will go up.  If you are about to go to sleep , it will go down.

Why not just take a trip to the Dr to confirm? It can't hurt. Most likely you are fine but instead of wondering and feeling anxious about it, just head to your Dr and have them check you out to be sure. And then you can relax!

unless youre 87 years old, there is no need to measure your blood pressure

If u are generally a anxious person then I promise you that checking your blood pressure everyday is not a good idea blood pressure flucuates throughout the day it is normal for it to change depending on the situation and unless u have had a history of high blood pressure or u have a heart issue or something then u shouldn't be concerned about your blood pressure anyways there is things u can do lifestyle wise to ensure your blood pressure stays in good shape diet excercise etc easy for me to say because I neglect both diet and exercise but yea... Anyways 118/88 isn't bad anyways go to the ER with that blood pressure they think nothing of it at all I promise u that...
