try not to focus on the what if‘s. You’ve taken one tablet and so far everything’s OK. Take one day at a time and one tablet at a time. don’t think about tomorrow , only think about the present moment. You may never have a side effect or you may have a mild one. All you can do is do what you need to do for today.you can always talk to your doctor anything changes. Your doctor can adjust dosages, change medication, etc. You’re going to be OK, just don’t focus on it so much. Do other things to keep you busy. Take care

hello! i can understand that and i want you go know that it is completely normal to feel anxious when starting your first medication. I had the same when i got prescribed my first antidepressant in 2019 BUT i want to tell you that it is indeed your anxiety speaking. Medication has been very helpful for me and looking back i'm so happy that i took it because it helped me feel like myself again. I must say for me it took some trial and error to find the right one but this is also normal! don't give up please, it will get better and if you need anything i'm here. I went from having physical and mental symptoms of anxiety 24/7 and daily panick attacks to only getting a few panick attacks a year that i'm now able to control and not let them affect me anymore.

i'm sorry you're going through this but you should not fear the mediactions i know soooo many people that are taking antidepressants and have done wonders!
