Anxiety after eating

for the last week i have been having bad anxiety after eating, i get a feeling as if i can't breathe and then my hands start sweating i feel hot and last night i ended up throwing up due to my stomach feeling cramped and felt like something was caught in my throat, is there something serious wrong or just anxiety

    are you nervous about anything? i think you are hyper aware of your anxiety after eating and i think that since you expect it now, you feel the symptoms naturally now. i think that it is anxiety but if it doesn't get better or just for some reassurance, you can always make a dr's appointment (: trust me, i have felt the exact same thing as you, i always feel bloated and like i can't breathe properly but i think it's just our mind playing tricks. i hope you feel better!

      its very uncomfortable feeling when it happens, sometimes it feels like my throat is closing, last time i saw my doctor i told him that sometimes it feels like I can't breathe and he assures me that my lungs are fine

    its anxiety thats what i get if u chew gum to help keep the saliva in your month its because when we get anxiety u get a dry month . Do breathing exercises sip water and chew gum

    Hi Brandon! People with eating disorders and especially people with anorexia nervosa may feel acute anxiety when they eat. Therefore, I suggest you should consult to the doctor regarding this. Because a survey shows that millions of people - especially those with panic attacks - have the development of anxiety after eating.
