Hey to anyone readng this i been having issues with anxiety disorders since 19 i spent 6 years in silence and over the last year have been dagnosed and started reciving medical and therapy treatment unfoutunatly im still stuck in the house due to the Agorophobia and im sure anyone who has experienced it can relate to how utterly boring it is especially when you know what your missing out on and you had a good life prior to this all happening anyway im not going to write my whole story here has it would most likley bore most lol.

My reason for being here is to make connections with people maybe going through the same or similar things maybe just to keep in touch bit of company through the rough times who knows maybe few of us could get some good friendships out this disorder at least silver linnings and all that so get in touch or drop me a message on skype at bennnaaronnn anyone is welcome, for those of you that dont respond keep fighting teh good fight things do get better with the right help so ya know just hang on in there best of luck to you all on what ever journey or path ya travelling take it easy peaceeeeeeee.

    Hi

Take 1x tablespoon of flaxseed oil daily it will help with agriphobia.

You can buy it from a health food shop.

    Good luck..

It should work..let me know how you go.

I read it in a depression book that it was scientifically proven if you have 7grams a day for 2-4months it will help. And you know what it has helped me after like one week i had improvements and its getting better.

I have a long story just to keep it breif i suffer from anxiety, panic, agriphobia, severe depression

Depersonalisation and derealisation is hideous. I have it 24/7. Wouldn't wish it on anyone!!!

Hahaha, that's one way of putting it! Me too, it's just such a nasty thing. Hardly anyone understands what it is, so it does make things a bit harder.

    Hi captiinbirdseye

Agoraphobia, DP/DR can ruin you life,,,,,but........Can you take one step at a time? like for instance:

Venturing out of the house (maybe with somebody) and go to say the first lamp-post, and back.  Then next day, go to the second lamp-post, or whatever landmark you choose.  (I have actually practised this method)  And so on.

Not easy, but you can gain confidence slowly.  I even used to do this (with my daughter) at night in the dark.....she would say "Come on, you CAN do it".....and gradually I did.   Sufferers are missing out so much.  Please try!  Good Luck!
