me too,I've had alot of stress lately, and I will admit I've gained weight, mid stomach area included,I'm thinking all that gas and bloat pushes on a persons diaphragm sometimes causing the short ness of breath. I feel the best when I have distractions when I'm around people. I think it takes my mind off things and I feel better. Look up the mind -stomach connection,I think they share some common nerves in the nervous system. Hope you feel better. It can be quite uncomfortable.

Yep, anxiety can cause bloating and also weight gain.

    • By the "feeling like you can't take a full breath" do you mean in your chest or stomach? Bc I get that feeling in my chest allllll the time when I'm anxious. It's like I can't get enough air and I feel like I have to keep taking big breaths to get enough air. It's so annoying but I know it's very common anxiety symptom.
