Anxiety and depression and fissures

I have been suffering with 3 fissures since November and to say I'm struggling is an understatement. I'm waiting lis surgery but god knows when that will be.

So many people on this forum say how they also suffer from anxiety /depression. I have been on antidepressants for more years than I care to remember. I recall a consultant once saying to me that while I take antidepressants I will always suffer with constipation. Does anyone else have any experience of this? BTW I feel for you all with what you are going through. No one can understand if they have never experienced it day in day out x
