Anxiety and earache

Hi been battling anxiety for a while last year had undiagnosed rib pain had ct scans and X-rays all clear then it went away. This caused me a lot of stress and insomnia this seems to have been replaced with loads of ear problems blocked ears pain sensitivity to sound.Had tests all clear.It's so painful making me panicky could this be anxiety as well. Trying to accept feelings and ignore them but it's so painful. Don't want to try meds as they can affect ears .

    Lynda, I too had ear pain & went to urgent care, seems I had a wax build up.

    They said my ear canal is very narrow & causes this problem. I also have allergies which effects the ears also.

      Thanks for your reply had my ears checked loads of times nothing wrong sending me into panic everyday it's all I can think about 😟

      Lynda, If u have allergies or a sinus infection this will cause ear problems!!!

    My twin! But i have thumping and spasms in the ear. Im in hell. I havent got a scan yet the stupid ent rambled on about insurance rules tightening up. And i developed some dry eye syndrome. Im almost about to implode. I dont understand anything woth doctors anymore. They need to be better. This ear mess is not anxiety, it the trigger. Tmjd can be behind it as well. Why cant they even figure this stuff how damn hard is it? I had the stuoid flu and it destroyed my life in december, eustatian tube retracted then tinnitus, hyoercussis then seemed good until this spasms or whatever it is. I really believe this stuff knows how to heal with all mynheart but it needs to hurry up. I would cry but the dry eye issues seems to have taken my tears. I have an optic nerve issue so they barely treat me as is. I have been sweating or freezing and losing weight frim all this anxiety. Im going back and getting an appt. i want a damn scan and a scope. You see a lot woth scooe and to check my throat sometimes that can do stuff. They need to figure it out. There arent tons  of ent choices here. And it is time and money when we go. Im going to print out some forum stuff because if he stands there and says he never heard of it he is a liar!  My sanity is hanging by thread already. You dont leave a person to rot.  They ran stupid tests in me. I know they need to run real ones. A scan and a scope.pretend they are specialists.

    i have contemplated going to a hospital but i think they have changed a ton since i have last been 18 yrs ago or as scheduled tests. Not thru an ER Im not  sure they do much if anything these days. The urgi centers will be useless they give antibiotics and i dont have a fever.  Very very frustrating. 

    You do have to be careful with meds if they are ototoxic when you have ear issues. Thats is the truth. Nsaid can cause issues as well from what imwas told. Imhavent been for these odd twich spasms in my ear yet. I had went for tinnitus and sound sensitive. They did nothing then as well. By i knew etd played a role in that. This i have no clue. Scary.

    im sorry ..i doubt i calmed you but i can really relate right now.
