Anxiety and Erection

For the past few weeks I've been trying to avoid masturbation while allowing skin on my penis to heal as I am about to encounter my first sexual experience after lock down is over. I have the problem now where when I think about arousal or I see porn or anything I get anxiety because I have associated masturbating to feelings of disappointment and failure as I aimed for healthier penis skin. It has been 3 days, I can still get an erection, but it is so much harder to achieve and I am barely aroused. On top of this I now have the fear I wont be able to perform sexually which is increasing the anxiety and making it even harder to achieve an erection.
Is this damage reversible, do I need to seek help, or am I being over dramatic has it has only been 3 days and I should see if this problem consists?
Any responses will be very helpful, thank you.
Just to add, I am 21 and I believe this is all mental as I have no signs of this being physical ED or something.

Okay, you have a lot of stuff going on in your head about all of what you are thinking through. One simple explanation could be that you are over-thinking the whole thing - but I know this is often very hard to put aside and simply let nature take care of things as it was intended to be.
You talk about this in terms of the last few weeks and then 3 days - so I am not fully sure of what the 3 days applies to precisely?
In essential terms you need to get back to basics of achieving healthy penile skin and a heathy state of mind regarding all the things you are thinking about: so, you either take care of things yourself, or, eventually, you may need to go to the likes of a sex therapist to deconstruct all the unhelpful though patterns and ways of thinking about this that are really unhelpful to you right now.
Are you a physically active person and have you been able to get out and about during the COVID lockdown to do regular exercise such as walking, running or cycling?
You need to channel your mental energies elsewhere and this often goes hand-in-hand with physical exercise. I would also suggest if you have deliberately been abstaining from masturbation this need to be for an extended period of time such as 3 weeks plus to achieve anything of meaning ...... ?

Hi, I had avoided masturbation for 3 weeks, but since then I noticed that I had been getting anxiety symptoms whenever I saw something sexually arousing which was stopping my ability to get an erection. These symptoms started 4 days ago.
I have decided to contact a therapist about my problems, as I have a lot of anxiety problems other than this.
I am hoping as a result I will be able to healthily abstain from masturbation without psychologically harming my ability to get aroused.
Thank you for always replying to me.

Okay, I really hope the Therapist can help you sort out the source of your anxieties and you can learn to move on from this particular issue. Good Luck !
