Anxiety and irregular heartbeat

Hi guys, is it normal to have irregular heartbeat? I have anxieties. Im anxoius that i gerting heart problema, my blood preesure are always fine

     yes anxiety can cause that.  Millions of people have that symptom with anxiety. Especially skipped beats, fast heart rate and pounding heart feeling .  As long as you've been checked out by your doctor and everything's fine, then the most likely culprit is anxiety. Try some slow long deep breathing until you feel your heart settle down .  Always go right to your breathing when you start to feel anxious or get symptoms.

      but why I feel shortness of breath when i lay down fast or sitting down and my heart beats so slow? Am so afraid am gonna die huhuhu

    Yes its normal it happens to me too Ive thought I had heart problems until ive had 2 ekgs already & everything is normal with my heart. Ive had chest pains too

      I've to get ecg cause my anxiety is making me feel something wrong with heart and knowing am going for this is making me more anxious that they're going to find something wrong sad how long did it take.. this is all cause a keep getting rapid heart rate and skipped beats and can always hear my heart they said it sounds perfectly fine and my blood pressure fine but think for peace of mind they're doing it.. does it take long to do

      It happens to me too ! It shouldnt take too long for the ekg.  When I go to the ER thinking that something is srsly wrong with me Im in panick mode the whole time im there & my heart beats so fast when im panicking and anxious so thats why theyve had me do ekgs twice  but thank god my heart is healthy. My heart doesnt bother me anymore I dont pay attention to it and I barely even feel heart palpitations now or it even beating. I find that cold water and breathing in & out calms me down

      Thanks I'll try that.. I've had anxiety now since January it's been long road sad just wish a could be my normal happy self again this has robbed 8 months of my life and don't know how to get it to stop.. now I can't sleep and a was always a great sleeper so a dread night time now cause a know a won't sleep it's so upsetting... I have really bad anxiety knowing a won't sleep as a know a need sleep and a don't know if it's me that's doing it sad when a do finally fall asleep am that worked up and anxious that a wake up like hour later in puddle of sweat so anxious and that's me up rest of night sad a really don't know how to get this to go

      Me too I just wish I can be happy again. Usually I can control my anxiety & I can relax a bit more but every 3 months or so it just gets so discontrolled. Im visiting my doctor today hoping im healthy & that I can get therapy or medication for this. You'll be okay its just in your head you are overthinking too much ! I do this too & I End up making myself sick, my mom tells me the same too. Ive had trouble sleeping too but this week ive been sleeping well & it does make you feel a bit better so try to get as much as sleep as you can

      I try so hard to sleep and I just can't and when I do I wake up after hours of trying and am in complete fear and anxiety so that's me stuck up rest of night. I've been to doctors multiple times a was put on sertraline made everything worse so came off and it's been since then they drugs messed with my head and gave me insomnia.. now they're giving me sleeping pills and am to scared to take them but a need sleep.. sorry for my rant and sorry your suffering sad

      Are you anxious today Danielle? Your not gonna die it's just a symptom that can only get better with time.. are you able to distract yourself for while as keeping your mind buzy really helps calms yourself down enough to see that it's just anxiety

      Have you got anyone that can talk with you and re assure you like mum, dad friend? Sometimes just a hug or Someone telling you everything is ok is good as well to settle you down.. I see you've seen your doctor and they've been happy with your blood pressure and heart.. take this as re assurance that it's nothing bad it's just anxiety

    Shortness of breath is very common with anxiety. You see, anxiety is very tiring on our bodies, so it's normal to feel the shortness of breath.  

    I used to get the shortness of breath, weakness, rapid and slow heart rate, pounding heart, etc.  It's OK . They feel scary but you will be just fine!  

    All those feelings you get like slow heart rate, etc are not harmful.  I had those for many years before I learned how to manage them better. They absolutely did me no harm!   

    It would benefit you to learn proper breathing techniques when you feel this way.

    It takes you away from concentrating on symptoms and focus on your breathing.

    Try the meditations for breathing on you tube. 

    Actually if you are really stressed, search for meditation for Panic attacks/emergency anxiety relief. They guide you through the anxiety and breathing. This is the Mindfulness approach which is very popular around the world.
