Hello,
I had a health scare over Christmas and I went from being constipated to completely changing my bowels to loose stool. I was going 5/6 times a day and it was floating/fat. I've since calmed down a bit (still having tests) but noticed since I have relaxed its come out a little bit normal (not quite normal) but not like it was!. I have stomach pains too and pains in certain places. Even my periods went very light....
One thing I have learnt is it mostly in your mind. If you have anxiety and you google symptoms, you will start having them. I really hope we over come this.....
I have had bloods, scans etc.... privately I am paying for an MRI and mammogram! just for peace of mind.
I found a tinny wobbly lump (smaller than a pea). On my upper arm so il probably think I have skin cancer now! Back to the doctors again. 😩!!.

Oh dont worry about this lump, i have health anxiety and i feel weird stuff all the time trust me!
And you are so right i can think of symptoms and i would actually feel them!
And talking about google im trying to stop google symptoms because it gives you the worst outcome and anxiety has a lot of common symptoms of other diseases, so dont look on google.
Now i really understand the quote "our mind is our biggest enemy" its so true, and im tired of it!

Your right there mind is powerful,it affects our whole body. Googling symptoms is the worst anything small will come out fatal. Once i have my scans,MRI & mammogram done i will hopefully start to calm down...

I dont have any blood i dont have stomachaches just loose bowel not even diarrhea.
When i used to have really bad days it was diarrhea, now that i got better its a loose bowel like no liquid at all, and i've noticed if my day is good with not much anxiety my bowel will be better, if its a bad day it will be looser.
Although i can see my bowel is a result of my mood swings its still consuring me and i have a major health anxiety so its not fun.

Just try to keep busy and dont let your self be alone and think, go to the gym, and try to be positive that will make you feel better.
You will be fine !

It's true very and horrible which comes first stress causing ibs or ibs causing stress.....I'm had an Ibs attack lasting 10 months.....making stress anxiety worse and making ibs worse........

I get IB with my Anxiety, I also suffered with problems caused in my Colon.
Now I eat an inclusive diet with upwards of ten or more fruit and veg portions a day and fish at least twice a week, one of the portions are an oily fish like makeral etc. White meats twice a week and dark meats also several times. Carbohydrates are also needed.
Diet helps, although Anxiety can still brew up a hurracane with heavy winds
Talk to your GP if you feel you have IBS, there are tests

I think once you have ibs symptoms you always will, perhaps to a lesser degree as time goes by, but it never really goes away, as if you are a stressfull anxious person the gut is often in spasm causing either constipstion or looseness.
The knack is to learn how to live with it, and also any foods that can make it worse when it flares. I use buscapan, and wind ease if i am really bloated, and also immodium if i am going out and having problems. Its a case of learning to live with it, and what works for you personnally.
If course in an ideal world, there would be no stress and no ibs.....
