Anxiety and Sertraline problems

I've been on sertraline since 2014. I Occasionally tried different SSRI medications but always ended up coming back to Zoloft. About two years ago i recreationally smoked medicinal marijuana with a friend -- and unfortunately went into a panic attack that resulted in an ER visit. Long story short , i took xanax for 6 months because i was having residual panic attacks everyday after that ER visit , that happen for no reason at all. Flushing , rapid heartbeat , sweating, intense feeling of something bad is about to happen. The entire year of 2018 I had not one panic attack or anxiety issue. I was on zoloft 100mg only for the entire year. Then recently about 2 months ago i started getting the attacks again -- but now i am scared to take my medications because on a few seperate occassions i have gone into a panic attack literally 10 minutes after taking my zoloft. I am now to the point of where i dont know what to do , and i am terrified of medications. I feel like the medications caused the problems in the first place. I just want to be off meds and normal again

smoking weed when you have anxiety or did have anxiety related problems is a definite no go. I can tell you that from experience. I used to smoke all the time, all day every day and now if I was to even have a tiny bit my anxiety would increase 100x and it would mess me up for a long time. once you have a panic attack they can be reoccurring because we panick about panicking if that makes sense. because let's be honest panic attacks are horrific!
as to taking zoloft and getting panic attacks after 10 minutes I can guarantee this will be all in your head x doesn't make it easier though. the same used to happen to me, everytime I took a citalopram I would panick bad!
I think maybe taking a benzo just before you take your zoloft ,will definitely stop the panick and after a few times you will completely forget you used to panic in the first place and taking it wont be a problem anymore.
just remember a panick attack cant hurt you. if one comes on accept it and ride with it, say to yourself I'm panicking but nothing bad will happen. if you fight it it gets worse.
the brain is powerful. the better you get at ignoring them, the less they will bother you, the less you will have
obviously with some help from the zoloft toox
