Hi: yes I sweat with anxiety a matter of fact I am going through a attack right now. Good luck but they tell me that happens.

My days of hopelessly searching google are thankfully over but I suppose that doesn’t mean others haven’t picked up the habit. I have anxiety myself, no depression or anything more just simply anxiety and panic attacks occasionally. But up until about four or five months ago I had developed a rather alarming hypochondriac mindset. One day it was the onset of hepatic failure and the next day I had ALS and had actual twitches. The mind is extraordinary, that word read it again, “extra-ordinary”. As long as you’ve had comprehensive consulting with your physician and everything physically checks out than you do no have to worry and trust me I know it’s MUCH easier said than done but you can do it, I did. The brain is powerful and if you allow it to, it will truly cripple you. Sweating, shaking, twitching, nightmares, diarrhea, headaches and migraines, aches and deep breathing pains, back pains etc. I have had them all and had extensive CT and MRI work done as well as a colonoscopy and endoscopy and every single cell checks in healthy so why did I have all those recurring symptoms? Simply because I allowed them.

Omg i feel ur talking about me. Within a year i did brain mri and heart catheter and endo and colonoscopy and tons of blood tests. And even if they are normal i feel some new symptoms. Within last year I experienced all symptoms on medical dictionary. And as i told you my latest symptom which is anoying me is sweating. Which last 2 days started to be continues day and night. Iam not sure but I think since I started reading about disease that can cause sweating. Its controling me and distroying my family and work life

You do not have any perspiration issues, but thinking you do and scaring yourself will make you perspirate. Take a shower and relax, you’re all good.

Sweating is a symptom of anxiety. Excessive sweating is also named as excessive sweating anxiety. Meditation is really very helpful in anxiety problems. Concentration on problem increases your sweating and deep breathing practices helps to free from stress and its related symptoms.

Hi Claire, as a lifelong sufferer of Anxiety (I was diagnosed at one week old with separation anxiety that cause shakes whenever my mom put me down.) so I’m well versed on the topic. I’ve had everything from night sweats, to blood in my stool all the way to aches bones and muscles. Naturally we want to know what’s going on inside our body so we can remedy it and help ourselves feel better. BUT sometimes we use google to find out what the little issue might be and than suddenly it’s a big issue cause google will tell you that you have rare forms of cancer before it tells you that you are probably dehydrated etc. SO please no more googling of symptoms, I did it and it drove me to the edge! You’re most likely like the rest of us suffering with anxiety and panic. It’s very uncomfortable and very odd but medications likes Zoloft are NOT the answer. SSRI’s may cause long term damage to neurtoransmissons, and alter receptors in a way that’s not fully understood. Hopefully you tried every route before exercising your right to medication, but if not, get back out there and try to live healthy and happy without any drugs as they only relive short term problems and ultimately compound them later on and make them worst. Always here to talk!! Best of luck Claire.
