Anxiety at work

lately I haven't been doing well at work, making lots of mistakes and just having no motivation and quite frankly I actually don't care , but I use to care about my work. My manager had had talks with me about my performance and I just wanted to know if anxiety and or depression has effected anyone else at work in the their performance etc... ? I feel like a complete screw up but I can't actually be honest with them coz they won't understand my anxiety and depression. And I'm worried I'm gonna get sacked and im feeling trapped and stuck in a situation.

Its affected me at work. I use to be a good worker. Now i just dont care. I'm more worried about my anxiety attacks. I've been talked to about it. But i shrug it off. My attacks are more n more frequent now its almost hard to work with it.

It's affected my work as well. I use to enjoy what I did and wanted to get into work early, always taking OT, but lately I just don't care. When I think about all goals we are required to make I become frantic and cannot bring myself to actually go. Also my joints and bones will hurt as I have arthritis and when I'm stressed or have anxiety.

    Hello I understand,

My work noticed my anxious nature and we had words, I just let them know I'm going through things and left it there, i am slowly becoming the good worker I was but it's important to take baby steps.

    Best of luck

If you want them to believe you, then maybe you should get a diagnosis from a doctor to show them your records.  Just a thought.

it sounds more like depression than anxiety.  With anxiety I'd imagine you be all uptight and alert trying to getting a lot done with too much on your mind to focus.
