Anxiety attacks about the new car I purchased please help!

Posted , 5 users are following.

I recently purchased a new car, which I was estactic about until I came home with it. All of a sudden I started experiencing major panic, worrying about making the payments, replaying every worse case scenario in my head. It got so bad yesterday until I cried for hours. I've been unable to sleep or barely eat, because of all the troubling thoughts. Can someone please help me. Has anyone else experienced something like this. Panic attacks are nothing new to me but this is the worse they've been.

Why would you do this yourself? ENJOY the car! Be grateful and appreciate it and so what you have payments. Id rather have car patments then medical bills ..mhm? Allow yourself to enjoy all this.  Youll make the payments. Look a new car deletes old car problems. Yes there are options as a lease, or a new used car but you chose the new car and it was what made you happy. Dont take that away from yourself. I say enjoy it! Love it and allow this gift to yourself. Id go with the fk it theory here and be happy.

lisalisa67 you are absolutely right. I've owned several cars but this is my first new car. I don't know why it has caused such a panic. Thank you so much for your encouragement.

Thank you everyone for the comments. It truly helps to hear stories from others who have gone through similar things in life. I have always been worried about one thing or another and the car payments are terrifying me at this moment. I always find something to worry about.
