anxiety because of high blood pressure

I was diagnosed with high blood pressure but I never took my pills because I was on a diet. But one day i took my pressure and it was 185/106 when I had that reading I wasn't anxious ..i got really scared and went to the hospital they told me to start taking my medication so I did. After getting good measures for 2 weeks I took my pressure at night and it was high again just remembering how high it was i freaked out. i have ocd so now I'm scared of checking my blood pressure I try to calm down but I feel so nervous. I'm scared that my true numbers will never show because of me being scared. I'm now scared of me having anxiety for fear of making my heart work more and having a heart attack. is there any one out there with anxiety who have high blood pressure for many years and are fine. please help. please don't give me advice that I have to control my anxiety to keep my blood pressure down or to prevent heart attack as that is my fear.. thank you

im sorry i dont have much insight on that. but there are times i go to the doctor, i was never told i had high blood pressure but my heart rate would be high and they would keep me. and one time it was because they were taking awhile and making late for a appointment. and dam my last panic attack was so intense i thought i was going to die if i fell asleep. i think the reason for my is a change in my job and not seeing the same people. been very depressed. i would get a physical. i feel i should and its been awhile. and im looking into therapy. i think to look into a psychiatrist but i did antidepressants and they dont work. good luck 2 u.
