can anxiety cause swollen lymph nodes?? Tbh I can’t tell if they’re swollen or not, do you feel them in your neck without them being swollen?? my neck has been really sore this week, and today I had a pain in my armpit... again I’m not sure if they’re swollen, but it’s causing me a lot of anxiety.

Stress can certainly add to the feeling of swollen lymph nodes. Anxiety and stress can play havoc with your immune system has you're run down from stressing all the time. I woke up once with severe pain in my neck, felt like my throat was on fire and like someone was strangling me. Headache, heavy feeling. Felt I'll and horrid. Honestly thought I was dying. It was just a case of step throat, Dr gave me some stuff to take and felt better then. If in doubt see your Dr.

Yes anxiety can cause your lymph nodes to swell. I went to the GP with this exact same concern and the GP said they were 'busy' and it could be that my immune system was so low because of the stress I was under having such bad anxiety and panic attacks, it could also be a little infection that the body is fighting, but would not be of concern. As soon as she reassured me I started to notice the swelling going down. I'm sitting here now, with no symptoms of a sore throat and my anxiety is reasonably low and I feel my lymph nodes and know I have no infection. So just to reassure you, you can still feel them even when well.
