It is common for an infection to trigger stress and make you anxious, because you worry rather than investigate what is causing the problem and then you fear the worst and panic. Some infections can cause horrors and make you feel like something is trying to kill you' and in a way that is what some infections are doing. Do not let this scare you though.
Your nose is not the best part of your body at curing infections and many nasal infections need extra support. Antibiotics are not the best solution if the infection is outside the membrane. Zinc cream is a common therapy. Antibiotics can sometimes make you feel strange too. I suggest you learn all that was related to the original problem and program yourself to realise' the problem is solved. Then draw an imaginary line between yourself and the solved problem. Then move on and repeat the same process, when the next problem comes and do it quickly before the stress makes you anxious. Make sure you are getting enough Vitamins and Minerals. The most essential ones for the Brain and Nerves are VITAMIN C (CITRIC ACID) and IRON (FERROUS) and B VITAMINS. Sometimes an infection will make an already NUTRIENT DEFICIENT BODY more deficent as your body needs more energy to fight infections. Vitamin C and Iron not only boost your energy, they are the basic nutrients your brain needs to make dopamines. Top up with vitamin c at least twice daily, because your body can not store it, It depletes quickly. Take care and keep in touch. Peace and Love. Robert.

A lot of antibiotics have the same effects on me. It's supposedly an uncommon side effect but anxiety is documented for many antibiotics. I don't know how they create these side effects but my general advice for feeling better on and after antibiotics is to drink a lot of fluids and eat more probiotic foods like yogurt that restore the balance of good bacteria in your body that might be killed off. I wish I knew how to treat it but I'm in the same boat as you whenever I take antibiotics. I hope you're starting to feel better already.
