Anxiety Disorder

Around two months ago I started having severe anxiety problem with increased heart beat and sweating of palm and feet. It use to continue whole day so I consulted a Psychiatrist. He started wit escetalopram 10 mg and clonazepam 0.25 mg. After around a month I was feeling fine so the doctor reduced my escetalopram dose to 5 mg and stopped clonazepam after tapering. After two weeks problem again started so doctor increased the dose of escetalopram to 10 mg and clonazepam to 0.25 mg. It has been a week since the increased dose has started but not having any relief. Will it again take month before I start feeling better.

it should not take that long for you to start feeling better. But give it a little time and try not to focus on it. Keep yourself busy. Let your doctor know how it’s going.
