Anxiety disorders and sleep

Posted , 2 users are following.

i have been suffering anxiety quite bad the last six wks eg GAD.

But I find on days where i wake up having a good sleep i can manage and cope with my GAD(still have some small panic attacks /intrusive thoughts/ etc) but i can cope with general daily life and manage GAD.

when i have a poor nights sleep or little to no sleep, then the wheels really fall off eg bigger panic attacks/higher levels of anxiety about my health/feeling more vulnerable to cope/seeking reassurance more from Doctors or online. Anyone else have this relationship with sleep and their anxiety disorders?

Most definitely, are you on any medication at the moment. I'm currently being weaned off Pregabalin and omg the morning anxiety and nausea is horrendous. I feel too scared to open my eyes and get out of bed but I'm so uncomfortable and anxious laying there! it's becoming extremely annoying as it runs my mood for the day ahead.
