Anxiety? Head pressure, loud heartbeat, extreme fatigue

Hi can anyone help?
So long story long, I got flu-like symptoms back in early January. I got over it but eventually I developed vertigo, ear fullness, facial tension and a swollen head feeling. That swollen feeling moved around my head at times causing me headaches.
It honestly made me feel like passing out at times. Still not sure if it was due to panic attacks or actual physical symptoms.
Eventually doctor classified it as inner ear infection.
The thing is since the doctors visit a couple weeks ago I started to develop odder sensations.
Now I am so fatigued. Like beyond tired especially after I eat. It makes me want to pass out. The thing is I took a comprehensive blood panel already and came back good except for a little high cholesterol and a somewhat low vitamin d deficiency.
But Ive never felt this way before. I can feel my heart beating louder (not necessarily faster) after I eat or after I walk for extended periods. Theres somewhat of a dull ache that lingers especially when Im lying down. This never used to feel this way.
The doctor said my blood test showed no signs of being pre diabetic.
Honestly, it feels like my head has so much pressure but my body is so weak.
Whats going on here. Ear infection affecting my nerves? Something else? Cancer?
I know Ive had some panic attacks since having this supposed "ear infection" but can anxiety really make me feel this way for so long? This has never happened to me before so I have nothing to compare it to.
Like I was a somewhat healthy guy leading up to the new year. Gym 3-4 times out of the week.
The doctor is insistent on ear/possible sinus infection with anxietybut Im not sure

Keep an eye on and observe your condition, insist on staying at home, don't go out. When you are severe, if you have a high fever, please dial 999.

i have no fever, no mucus nothing.
which is why these sensations are odd to me. Ive never been sick for over a month or classified with something like anxiety.
Heavy head with headaches, facial tension, ear fullness, nausea, lightheaded.
Can an ear infection really do all that to me?

did the doctor check your ears for an infection? Or your sinus? A sinus infection can make you extremely fatigued, headache and head pressure. However anxiety can also cause those symptoms. Is there something in your life that is making you anxious? Work? Relationships? Anxiety can produce hundreds of different symptoms and I have had the fatigue, head pressure, , Dizziness, nausea and so many more.
The first thing I would recommend is a complete check up by your doctor and if everything comes out OK then it’s most likely severe anxiety causing this. I was so weak at one point I couldn’t get off the couch but all my testing came back normal.
if something is causing your anxiety it can be very helpful to speak with a counselor who can help you manage all of this.

If it is anxiety, I have nothing to compre it to since this is the first time I've ever felt like this.
So far I've seen three doctors. One from urgent care and two different physicans from the clinic i go to.
The urgent care doctor said all I had was a migraine which is ridiculous.
The 1st physician ran a basic neuro test on me (fingers to finger, hands to hand). He also checked my ears and eyes, and his diagnosis was that I had a viral ear infection.
Finally the last doctor (who went over my blood test) said it is possible I have a ear and sinus infection. No mucus no fever however
Even though they were reassuring, they each had no timetable for recovery. Kind of like eh, itll get better when it gets better.
No consideration that a) Ive never felt this way before and b) its been over a month that Ive been feeling like this.
My head feels like a brick is inside it and it constantly moves around from the front of my face to back of head and to the top.
Like Instarted with vertigo and ear fullness about 3 weeks ago but now its turned into my head feeling terrible and lightheaded at times, especially when I stand up.
Ive used Flonase, Sudafed, Motrin, and other medications but symptoms have not improved, just altered...
Can anxiety be that powerful? Like i mentioned, this feels beyond real. I can barely stand up without feeling like I have no blood flow to my head.

I am experiencing this same thing!! I started off feeling really tired, then started having some slight vertigo/imbalance (like i was standing on a rocking boat), and what felt like tension headaches. This of course caused my anxiety to skyrocket and I visited urgent care where they said my ear was slightly infected and gave me antibiotics. I dont have any congestion or cold symptoms. I am achey all over. My symptoms havent improved with antibiotics or sudafed or flonase. I hope it gets better soon 😦

exactly! I have the same exact symptoms as you. Did yours start after getting flu-like symptoms?
Honestly, I have all these symptoms now. Its a long list. Swollen head, headaches, facial tension, ear fullness-crackling, throbbing hands and feet, cold burning sensation in hands and feet, mid-center-upper back pain in the morning, hearing my heart beat loud (not fast).
The list goes on and on. I find myself checking my pulse. I cant even walk outside without freaking out or feeling wobbly in the legs. I cant tell whats real or not anymore.
Just a weird weird time.
My mind is saying cancer or some deadly disease but the last couple doctors that have seen me think otherwise. They dont sound convinced enough. How long have you been suffering with this?

yes, but it happened a couple weeks after a very mild cold. I also immediately thought I had a brain tumor or MS or something worse, I still do think that sometimes. But its most likely an inner ear infection or tension headaches from the anxiety. You pretty much have to tell yourself that its not something serious until you ant walk or you have a fever or cant stop throwing up... then its serious. Ive been feeling like this for a couple weeks now. its absolutely maddening

are you having heart palpitations as well? mine seem to be louder especially after Ive eaten or whenever I'm sleepy. Like I can feel my heart working overtime.
Is that possible due to my supposed "ear infection" leaving me discombobulated or the body not knowing where to send blood flow?

Hi Eliseo, Sorry you are having all these symptoms...Ear &/or Sinus infection/inflammation(fever isn't always present), Migraine, Anxiety(can cause other issues to become magnified) Tension headaches just to start, are a few things that can cause; pressure/heavy feeling in head, vertigo, dizziness, nausea, fatigue and MANY other symptoms, (just a note; dehydration can cause a lot of symptoms & can make some conditions worse)...ask your Dr if your ears and sinuses seem clear if they could be inflamed? If this continues and your Drs are certain its something listed, your best bet is trying relaxing & de-stressing...massage your scalp, temples, neck, shoulders and if you can, have someone do your back, try heat on your head(including ears and warm cloth across your forhead & across your cheeks over your nose), neck, shoulders, or maybe cold packs work better for you....warm bath/shower, deep breathing(several times a day for at least 15 min., mild stretching, sleep with your neck/back aligned well, not kinked, ask your Dr if anti-inflammatories for a few weeks might help(taken with food), avoid bright lights & eye strain, also back & neck strain, drink water 4-6 glasses/daily...you can write down everything you try, to show your Dr, If after a week it starts to help your symptoms, you have an idea you're looking at it being something in the list, if not...follow up with your Dr. tell him ALL the things you've tried and it will tell him it may NOT be what they think it is!! Good Luck & Best Wishes💒☮🍀🌈♾🐾🎶💞
