Anxiety/Health anxiety

So i wont go into detail about my past with health anxiety however If i could help people like i helped myself thats why i came here in hope that anxiety sufferers will see my post, anxiety is a horrible thing and ive lost count the amount of times people say "its all in your head" or "its not even a real thing" anxiety is very really it seems more real when the physical symptoms of a panic or anxiety attack kick in...anyway one day i got sick of feeling low,fed up and just not happy as i mainly had health anxiety so i would constantly be on "Dr google" which for anyone with anxiety is a huge mistake as 67% of the information isnt from health professionals and the information isnt correct, however one day i thought why am i letting anxiety make me feel this way and thats when it came to light you control your anxiety do not let it control you and i kept telling myself this everyday then before i knew it i realised i was regaining my happiness and "normality" back again, the key for me to anxiety is that you control your mind not anxiety so therefore if you dont want to be anxious dont let yourself be anxious, i just want people who suffer with anxiety to maybe not reach out for the tablets from the doctor and realise that its all about having a healthy mind and possitive thoughts as a negative mind and bad thoughts lead to sadness, anxiety etc when in reality you are the controller of your mind you tell your mind what to do not the other way round... So the moral of my story is "a possitive mind brings possitive thoughts" resulting in anxiety slowly but surely fading away, i hope nothing i have said in this post has offended anybody and i will apologise in advance if i have done so but even if i have helped one person to think possitive today then it makes me feel happier knowing ive helped smile

What was the one thing that helped you the most with anxiety?

One thing that helped me most was just having a possitive mind it sounds silly but it helps so much more, even with general anxiety a possitive mind will lead to possitive thoughts and then the anxiety slowly each day starts to fade away and for me became a thing of the past..even if you download an anxiety app it will set you daily challenges, provide you with the inspiration you need to think "im not going to let anxiety rule me anymore" for me it was all about self control and learning to not be so negative and to not even think about my anxiety anymore it was really hard at first but i look back now and i have never been so greatful

Doesn't sound silly at all. It's been a week and a half since I had a panic attack and positive thoughts when I start to get anxious have helped a lot.

Yeah ive found they help me alot its just maintaining that state of mind, like ive always been a natural worrier about all sorts but i just didnt want anxiety to get me down anymore so i changed my outlook and id never ever look back, yes i still have some bad days but thats just inevitable.. I hope you find a way to cure your anxiety smile

Being mindful and positive has helped me out a lot. I try to live more and think more in the present than in the past and future. I always worry there is something wrong with me. I workout in the gym 5-6 days a week and I have been doing that for the past year and a half. I am very healthy and I've always had good vitals. For some reason in the past month or so I've been worrying about my health.

Its a weird feeling isnt it but thats what obviously makes anxiety worse not knowing what the future will bring and then worrying more about health, so important to live life in the present otherwise it just gets you down
