Hi There have had a couple of them symtoms myself plus more take the shortness of breath or the need to take a deep breath because you think you are not getting a good intake of air is a sign of anxiety does this get worse the more you think about it?

I thought so have you been the doctors over anxiety ? what I would say to you is if you havent already is go the doctors also when you feel the need to take a deep breath is tell your self that your are ok and nothing is going to happen to you all this is the anxiety trying to get a hold of you what you have to do is take back control think about it this way is you can still talk to people yes so you must be getting air so nothing can happen to you does this make sence ? TRUST me on this one so what you have to do is when something like this happens to you is try and take you mind of it even by reading the post on this forum is a great help remember knowledge is power

I always get a lump in my throat and can't breathe, cold in the arms and legs, general sense of lightheadedness, disorientation and weakness. For me the biggest problem is in the back of the neck.. I feel as if someone was trying to rip my head off... it also comes in waves; I'll feel weak for a little bit and then I feel this intense pain in my stomach, heart and head and I feel like I'm going to die. When I begin to feel better again I get this heatwave and it feels like a sudden surge of warm blood is filling my body. Tried dealing with it without meds for 2 months, it feels like it's getting a little better but not fast enough.. decided to go on anti-anxiety meds and SSRI's for the time being. These panic attacks have made me on the verge of suicidal.

forgot positive thinking is a big help and knowing that I will not always feel like this and of course that having support from family helps a lot as well

Hi , Sure does sound like anxiety. Most people when we feel panic,it feels like we can't breathe. Feeling off, unbalanced, walking around in a fog, and I call it short swallowing. All so consuming and scary. Your Jaundice(GILBERT'S) has nothing to do with this. I think you are having a lot of anxiety, probaly going into panic mode. You should call family doc and get on meds. Good luck !!!!
