prolonged Anxiety can lead to long term depression,

if it isn't dealt with quickly.

this is why parents who begin to notice that their children panic excessively when perhaps going to school etc

should consider visiting the local gp so that the child can be examined and treated appropiately before their mind becomes accustomed to panicking and it risks becoming a long term mental health problem.

I speak from experience because I was aware of having a mind set of irrational fear and it lead to me becoming trapped into panicking when I should be calm.

that lead to depression which I regularly suffer from

especially when my anxiety level is high.

I showed signs of anxiety disorder when I was a child but my parents didn't understand and so by the time I spoke to a gp about the disorder it was fullblown and once that happens it is very difficult to change it.

well it is or has been for me.

I still panic 24/7 even when I am home.

I wouldn't wish this disorder on my worse enemy.

I think a thing that also plays into all this is sometimes there is a valid reason for anxiety. In that case it is only normal,no matter what , it needs to be dealt with, question is,how will we do it. Its so hard whether its an imaginary unwarranted fear or a valid one. It rules a persons life. I hope you find the help you need to enjoy life,i hope i and all others do too. Xx

I took medicines in 2014 November till 2016 Jan that was SNRI + xanax and left medication without telling doctor may leaving medication creating this irritation is that possible .

When did you quit the meds? where they used daily?. Meds such as antidepresants and anxiety meds that are taken on a regular basis are not to be stopped cold turkey, the dose has to be lowered gradually to avoid such things as seizures and other withdrawal symptoms including very bad anxiety.

I was taking it regularly but left it in January this year and faced the withdrawal effects for two weeks butbthen settled .... Then didn't visited doc and this episode has started worst and still going on, the doc said if you leave medication the episode will come again again and becoming more sever than before .... But I read on internet SNRI antidepressants sometime makes symptoms worst and put you in depression even sucidal thoughts so I got anxious and left the medication and now I wanna again go to same doctor and start again medication is it eight ?

Im 29 now and have suffered Anxiety, Panic attacks for 10 years as well as on and off depression.

Have tried so many meds, some worked and some didnt.

Xanax (Diazepam) is the only thing I find that helps when I get really anxious and panicky.

I have tried Hynothearpy, Reiki, CBT, Councelling, you name it, nothing has really helped long term to date
