Anxiety - low blood sugar?

i had covid back in july, it was pretty bad (not bad enough to be in hospital but i was bed bound struggled to eat etc.) i had a couple of panic attacks and have suffered with anxiety ever since. The thing is, its always at its worst if i havent eaten for a while and i need to eat, i usually feel somewhat better once ive eaten. im now wondering if i have a low blood sugar problem, when ive looked low blood sugar has lots of the same symptoms! has anyone experienced this?

you can always get a blood sugar test at your doctors.your body is most likely still recovering and it’s natural to not have a great appetite yet. That doesn’t mean that you have low blood sugar problem. just try to eat at least a little bit at every meal. You can even have a healthy shake filled with nutrients and still taste good!or a fruit smoothie. it may be a good way to start out. Anyway make sure you are staying hydrated take care

yes low blood sugar can cause what you describe, and in my case its low blood sugar. To check drink a small glass of juice and generally you will feel a lot better. Also purchase a glucose tester as low as $15.00 at local drug store to be sure .

Hi! YES! I feel the same but I have checked my blood sugar (my husband is diabetic so I used his meter) and it's higher than it should be. My doc says I am pre-diabetic. I had a blood test done last week but haven't heard anything. But, yes, I feel the same way that I must eat something to feel a bit better. Have no idea what that is. I have also lost 27 lbs over the summer as my appetite around June/July was not good. I eat but haven't gained any weight. It's a mystery to me.

I was worried I mayhave diabetes or very low blood sugar. Doctor did some blood tests, although my blo sugar is lower than average, it was still normal . My vitamin dD levels however, where crazy low. And that can cause the weird anxiety like symptoms iI was experiencing
