Anxiety or Angina

hi guys, I have been getting a tight chest and palpitations when exerting myself, it makes me scared to stand up. i dont get this sat down, even when i am knowlingly anxious. if this was anxiety, why do i only get this exercising/on a walk/even walking upstairs!
ive been battling with doctors since May, they were booking a cardiologist, finally got the app in January, but its with a nurse led team for an ecg - I had one of these already, it picked up having ventricular eptopic beats when my heart beats faster! so something is definitley happening. i had a doctor tell me to use headspace on netflix, i dont see how this will help me.
i was perfectly fine before may, i went on long walks 3/4 days a week, now i hardly leave the house in fear, and the tight chest/palps can happen even when hoovering... its got so much worse. i am now in a high risk pregnancy, and my gp doesnt even care to ask for a quicker appointment...
this is supposed to be the happiest year of my life, got married, im pregnant, but my health is ruining good moments. 😦
can anyone relate?

from what I understand ventricular ectopic beats are usually nothing to worry about unless they are causing symptoms. did you tell the doctors about how you are feeling? As far as symptoms?
they must not think it’s anything serious. You can always get another opinion from another doctor.
you might want to try really relaxing your mind to see if that helps.
ItIs your obstetrician aware of this? I hope you feel better soon.

hi jan, yes i have battled with my
gp for months, each say the same, that VE is nothing to worry about - even when i mention the tight chest.
my midwife knows as it went against my score with my thyroid to class me as high risk, but no one really seems to care so i feel like i am running out of options...

I get exactly the same, tightness, fast heart rate, but also shortness of breath, sweating and pain in my back (where the heart is but in the back). I get it if I walk, go up stairs, lift weights, even having sex 😦
I have had an ekg, a 24hr holter, an echo and a stress test. All ok. In January I'm having a stress test with echo while doing it.

this sounds like my issue! ecg was normal as i was resting, but the 24 hour came back with the VEs but apparantly not a concern even though its only on exertion, and my doctor seems convinced its because my anxiety is almost listening out for these beats that you wouldnt normally notice!
i had to call and call to finally get one of the doctors to refer me to cardiology, and been told ill have an ecg there - but ive had them already so no idea what the appointment will be like, if they give me a normal ecg ive had, i may have to spend £450 to go private as i dont want this to affect my pregnancy... 😦
