Anxiety or chronic illness?

For the past 8 weeks I have had some quite concerning symptons.

I'm a 17yr old female and have been a vegatarian for 8 years and a recent vegan since january.

In early April I was at a party and got very drunk and was left overnight in the cold. After that I got my period 2 weeks after my last which I found quite unusual. Then I started to have panic attacks getting more frequent and a sense of doom and weakness. I went to the docters who took a blood test which read that my iron levels are low. I was prescribed ferrous fermate which I have not been taking regually due to recent circumstances being a loss of appetite, difficulty breathing such as a quite tight and uncomfortable sensation, my throat also feels tight and I have aches in my sholders and quite a strong sense of doom/the end which has caused me to be unable to sleep due to thinking I am going to die. I live in quite a moldy room which makes me wonder if I have mold growing in my lungs. This sensation has been really quite concerning and currently I have been having frequent stomach aches causimg me to go to the loo frequently and my stool is usually green with some grey. This could be due to ferrous furmate. Today I am feeling genrally weak and extremely tired with a lot of chest, throat and back pain.

I smoked for 8 months usually 4+ a day but have now stopped. I have 2 bumps on the inside upper corners near my moulers in my mouth.

I am extremely concerned.

Thank you for looking.

Ellie, smoke of your symptoms such as the feeling of impending doom, and the fear that you may have mulled growing on your lungs sound very much like anxiety.

You are a 17 year old woman, the odds are very much in your favour that you don't have anything seriously wrong with your health.

However I think the best thing you could do would be to go back and see your doctor and explain all of your symptoms and fears to them.

Please see your doctor and I really hope these horrible symptoms get better soon.

as you were a vegan your iron levels were down so you might find yourself anaemic without the ferrous fumate.  Check to see if you are deficient in any other vitamins or minerals soon and decide whether you still want to be a vegan.
