Panic attacks makes us all very hypersenitive and the empath level goes extremly high. It is high anxiety. Its horrible. Like we are sponges and absorb everything negative, it would be nice if it worked in reverse and we absorbed all the positive and good stuff. Im sure by now you went back to the endocrinologist to reasses your thyroid, if you didnt you should as soon as possible. That really complicates things. I know how you feel and its stinks on every level. Its an exhausting life at times. The only happy end is i find it cyclical and it waxes and wanes. I have researches the science end of it to no avail and it is some dysfuntion of a protien or something that fires off too fast and sets us into fight or flight way too fast. A horrid pattern has arose now so first see the endocrinologist and after that hopefully it will get a tad better then research mindfullnesss techniques on breathing and healing meditations. You need to manually learn calming and coping techniques. The automatic mechanism in Our bodies seem to be dysfunctional. Accept it as is its easier to manage at that point. I think after a couple of full blown panic attacks you throw in ptsd as part of this. It traumatizing it really is.

I get that A LOT. & you mentioned getting it while watching anything in movies, where you think it could possibly happen to you? I get that, a lot when my anxiety is bad. Sometimes it'll bring out my anxiety. I definitely stray away from any horror movie or any negative movie, PERIOD, when I'm having a panic attack, or when my anxiety is pretty bad. I'm not sure what to do about it.

I forget things, all the time, too. I'm not exactly sure. I just tell myself something several times to remember it. I forget what I'm doing when I walk into the room I'm going to, or even as I'm walking out of the room I'm in. I'll often get distracted by something else, or my thoughts. My appointment with my GP isn't until the 19th, so I'm having to wait. I deal with generalized anxiety/panic disorder & depression.

Now I can't say that I feel like I'm gonna die every time I don't feel good, but when my anxiety is really bad & I've been getting panic attacks that last nearly all day, I feel like that, for a few days following the severe anxiety/panic attacks. With some of the problems I have, I do feel like that. I get that feeling a few times a day, though. Just not with every problem. I hope things get better. smile

You take a deep breath, slowly. I would suggest picking up some non-caffeinated teas like chamomile with lavendar, or chamomile with honey, etc. They also, have special stress relief teas, as well. Try taking a hot bath, for a good 15 minute's. Maybe add some bubbles, light a few candles, turn on some soothing music...Β

I feel like some good music would help. Make sure it's low. You don't always have to listen to music or watch TV, though.
