hi all,

i am after some advise, i suffer with anxiety and take propranolol and citalopram for it. about 2 weeks ago i was in a shop and all of a sudden i felt like my legs wernt my own and that i was going to fall down. i had to really focus to stay up, i had to stand still and then shuffle my feet to move. this made me feel sick and dizzy. the feeling lasted pretty much the rest of the day, since then i know have the weird feeling that my legs are not my own, not as bas as the day it happened but just slightly. i also have a really hard time walking down hill now, i have a constant giddy feeling and sensation that i will fall. i am not scared to fall but i am scared of this feeling as its so weird. all help and advice appreciated.

how long have you been on the medication? did you talk to your doctor about this? That would be the best thing to do because nobody else can really know for sure why this is happening. And it could just be caused by anxiety and stress but to be reassured, talk to your doctor and he or she could examine you and or run a test. has this ever happened before? I do know that stress and anxiety can cause a weak feeling in the arms or legs, dizziness or lightheadedness, plus many other sensations. I do hope you feel better soon.
