morning kevin, accept it my love, you are having withdrawal from something, ,probably ativan, you can't stop it cold turkey, that's what they  did with me a long time ago and I spent months in hospital, still cold turkey,  then they put me back on it and symptoms went, changed to valium and withdrew from that, struggling with pregabalin right now. my  stomach feels like  hand inside me  twisting everything, this is not going to be easy,  still  advise you, beware of pregabalin,  massage is wonderful, but only  short term, take care,   a sunday morning HUG for everyone

hi kevin, does sound like it, if a pain killer doesn't work,  and valium does,  your body is telling you something, see how long you go before you need another one, you could always back up with pks , when it comes to withdrawal, the stomach ,intestines, bladder, anything  in the abdomen   are most sensitive, for me anyway, of course there are the shakes, sweats, and every other b....y ache and pain, I wish I only had valium to withdraw from, pregab is a different kettle of fish and works a different way to benzodiazapenes. I weaned myself off valium  by shaving a small amount off each tablet , that way I cut abt 1/4mg over 3 to 4 days, still painful,  but bearable, .  back then I had a very good doctor, patient relationship,  he knew me , and my family, and I could always get to see him, he could monitor me and see how I was, during withdrawl he would call me to see if I needed any help , all changed now , he retired , and there has been a succession of doctors ,  that seem to  stay for 6 months or so, they never really get to know me as a whole person, never see the same person twice ,   end of my little grizzle, please let me know how you get on, wish you all the best, rosie.
