Hello everyone , did you know vitamin D3 deficiency is acounted to over 70% of people suffering mental anxiety , depression and panic attacks ? Vitamin D3 is vital for many functions in your body including brain function and its chemicals balance . If you are low you can even experience hallucinations and schizophrenic . Vitamin D also help your lungs function ,heart and stomach /digestion function . With low levels you can experience IBS , Gastritis , overall upset digestion . Please have your vitamin D levels checked along with all other vitamins / electrolytes it is vital ti your health and LIFE . Let me give an example : No names given , a patient bad anxiety , panic attacks ,headaches along with numbness ,inner vibrations and blurred vision , she was put on antidepressants which did not help , test was done ,no life threating cause was found blood test done a few times , then the day she was put on suicide watch we decided to check her vitamin D . Vitamin D is not a usual protocol in labs . Yes she had low levels !! She was given 50,000 ius twice a week for 2 months then 50,000 iu weekly up to 6th month mark . She started improving very well . No longer on suicide watch and sent home . After 1 year she improved to normal functions , happy and healthy ! It is so important to have vitamin D3 levels up to 40 to 80 ng counts . Food isnt a good source it has to come from the sun or supplements . Please have your checked , request it !

Yes I read once that if you had to take 1 supplement it should be Vit D..I take Vit D3 (it's in my multi) and then at night I take extra Vit D. In the fall, I start feeling strange and it might be less sun so that's when I start taking extra at night.

Hi ann , yes most definitely as you stated your depression gets worse in bad weather ,this is normal for people already suffering from a deficiency due to ot getting any from the sun rays . Studies have shown folks suffering anxiety and depression 80% are also low in this much need vitamin ( pro hormone ) . Make sure it is D3 ,as D2 doesnt absorb as well . Best wishes to you
