I have had nausea, tensed muscles (especially neck and sometimes scalp), tiredness, itchy skin, face tingling, brain fog, racing heart, and many more that I can't think of right now. Throughout the years i had done many tests that all came back fine, so i guess it was anxiety after all. Even now, 6 weeks on zoloft, and feeling better that. when I first started taking this med, I still wonder whether its just anxiety or something more sinister. I have health anxiety and my mind always think of the most sinister things anytime i have a symptom, even mild

Thanks for your reply, it's really tough, I've just started zoloft 5weeks ago so hopefully things get easier, i constantly think about how i feel everyday which doesn't help. Do you get bad indigestion/Heartburn on zoloft?

I get more of nausea and upset stomach, but heartburn too. It is a tough medication and, as you said, being super-aware of how we feel and any symptoms we may experience does not help. Today I feel super-tired (did not have a good sleep last night, tough day at work, super-hot outside but very overcast which I believe can have an influence on us), a little anxious, but manageable, and read somewhere that vitamin D may help with anxiety and depression. so, I started taking vitamin D. I spend some time outside, but if it's too hot (>100 F or 38 C), I either put sunscreen on or just stay inside till after 6-7 pm. I also do yoga and meditation and try to exercise (run 3-5 miles) and all these seem to help, but I believe I am still not where I hope to be both mentally and physically.

My sleep is a bit of a hit or a miss, I'm super tired tonight woke at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. Yes I've also started taking vitamin D and also magnesium glycinate.. Well done on the running that's brilliant, i bet it makes you feel so good. Our weather hasn't been great but i still try to walk 2-3 miles a day which distracts me when I'm out. I have tried meditation but struggled with it, may need to try again.

While I could sleep 6-7 hours/night and 1 hour after noon (I work half days over the summer), I still wake up 1-2 times at niggt, stay awake for 15-30 minutes, try to read something to get myself tired, so I finally get asleep again. When I first started sertraline 5 weeks ago, I could not sleep more than 3-4 hours/night so I guess my sleep now is much better. At that time I'd wake up with racing thoughts, racing heart, could not go back to sleep and many times had a panic attack. I switched taking my meds in the morning and along with meditation at night, I have seen improvements.

I started doing guided meditation (apps) right before sleep and believe it helped me improve my sleep. Now it's more on as needed basis.

Running makes me feel good indeed and hope to increase the frequency to 3-4 times a week (1-2 times/now) but with this hot weather we are currently experiencing in my area, it's kind of hard., as I run the best when weather is not over 70 F. Just like you, I try to walk daily 2-3 miles and can see the benefits.

I don't know how you feel about this anxiety thing, but although I have had it pretty much most of my adult life, I feel so exhausted now, I mean I can't wait to feel much more normal again. Maybe that's why i pay too much attention to everything is happening in my body and mind, which in turn, makes it more difficult to deal with.

Nausea, headaches, jaw aches from clenching, muscle twitching, tingling especially around my face from breath holding, dizziness, itching, feeling like I forget how to swallow or like I forgot my swallow reflex, over swallowing, heart palpitations, random muscle pains, shaking, high heart rate, nightmares... the list goes on.
