Anxiety Relapse.

Hello everyone,

So, I have been dealing with generalized anxiety for the last 11 years. However, I have been able to function well over the last 6 years. Nonetheless, I have had a few setbacks over the years, but have been able to bounce back. I honestly thought because I had to deal with this evil disorder I would not have other problems, well I was wrong. Over the last year I was diagnosed with gallbladder issues (biliary dyskinesia) and recently IBS. Even worse I feel like anxiety is back with a vengeance. I feel symptoms of panic when I am driving, which make me not want to go anywhere. I scared of getting my gallbladder remove and I need the surgery. I am very frustrated and would appreciate any positive feedback anyone has.

Thanks in advance,

Sarah

Hi sara , so sorry youre going through all of this , first have the surgery if needed it just could be the answer to your emotional distress . I had a friend have hers removed last year ,she too was going through emotional trama ,she is now a new person .. Second , have yoyr vitamin D levels checked , sounds as if your could be low ... Low D levels causes anxiety , along with a list of symptoms including IBS .

Also make sure youre getting your recommended Protein , it carries the same symptoms as vitamin D if low protein intake ....

I had mine out when i was 23 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child it wasnt bad at all. Was my 1st ever op as well, and as i was pregnant couldnt have any strong meds and it was manageable, worst part was the gas pain that went up into my shoulders so i sat up sleeping for a couple of nights. The only thing now i cant eat fatty food without having to run to the toilet sometimes, its not every time but still catches me off gaurd some times almost 6 years on lol

Just get it out you will feel so much better.

hi sarah, I had my gallbladder removed about 30yrs ago. was in hospital overnight. I've NEVER had any problems due to it, in fact, I Often forget I even had that surgery!

So please, if you're worried about that, don't be....just have the surgery and (barring any unforseen complications), you'll be fine within days!

whether or not this helps with your stress, that remains to be seen.....but, it'll be one less thing to worry about!

    happy holidays to you❤.

I know exactly what you’re talking about . . I have had anxiety since the age of five and still dealing with it in my 50s. However I have learned how to manage it better so that it does not get the best of me .

I did go to counseling which helps because this is difficult to manage alone.

first of all, don’t be afraid of gallbladder removal because I also had it done as they simply do a laproscopy and I left after the procedure. It’s really very simple.

i also get IBS which is caused by stress and anxiety. Had that since college when I was really anxious.

yes, Anxiety and panic are evil disorders because they come and go as they wish. . Nobody really understands what we go through unless they also have it.

the driving can be scary! Sometimes I have to think about where I’m going.

The main thing is getting the mind to settle down.

every Night before sleeping I listen to a soothing meditation on YouTube for anxiety or sleep. I really like the ones by Lauren. Also it’s important to eat a healthy diet and stay hydrated because it keeps your immune system healthy to fight off stress. Another thing as I mentioned before is giving some counseling because it really helps to vent to somebody else and you can get some great ideas. Get some exercise when you can. Stay busy and social because it takes the focus off of yourself. ❤
