hey...
i need help as my symptoms are borderline debilitating and seriously affecting my daily life.
for over a month now i've convinced myself i have a brain tumour. I have this constant weird feeling in the top of my head, like a mild pressure and feeling like i could drop any second. I do get headaches on top of my head frequently. I have spoken to my doctor and he doesn't seem concerned and has put me on Amitriptyline 10mg. I also feel tired constantly and lack of energy. I have tried everything to feel better and nothing is working. I just want to feel normal, I feel the only way I will feel this is if I have a scan on my brain, but doctor refuses as he feels there is no need...
I thought i should add this started when I had a blood test a couple months ago and had raised ALT levels, indicating an issue with my liver. Since this, it hasn't gone away and it usually would by now. i'm honestly terrified and out of options, it's affecting my life so badly at just 21... 😦

hi, im a bad health anxiety sufferer but have got parts of it under control and i hope i can reassure you, im sorry no one has replied to you yet.
tingling. your having tingling feelings when you are anxious because your heart rate changes, your blood pressure changes which results in different blood flow to parts of the body, its your body trying to protect you and get you ready for nothing, the flight or fight response, and its harmless, cannot hurt you, however bad it gets it will stop. it may help to come back and read my reply when you get all of these symptoms, its what i used to do before when i was given advice.
muscle twitching, muscle twitching is a very common symptom of all types of anxiety, because when you are anxious your releases neurotransmitters from your nerves, also if you breath faster or different when anxious it can cause twitching in the muscle, which is all nothing to worry about. remember also , you dont need to feel anxious when you have all of your symptoms, you can feel completely calm and get these symptoms, and thats sometimes what scares people the most. your body can be anxious and you wont feel it until you start getting funky symptoms 😃
pressure feeling is one of the most common feeling ever of anxiety, i know there are a few reaosns anxiety causes this, but my knowledge is your muscles tense up when you are anxious, and when you dont feel anxious! causing the very small ammount of muscle to tighten up on your head which can cause a pressure feeling, also, when you are overthinking and stressing out, youll almost always get that feeling, i do, all the time.
depersonalization, own your feelings, listen to music, loud, so you cant hear other stuff, sing with it, but not for too long cause ya hurt your ears 😃 tidy, shower, call someone, have a chta with your mum or whoever your close to on the phone, when you get these feelings, go for a walk, i had this for about a week and got it under control very fast by trying out these things, music and speaking to someone on the phone or going out to meet someone is what helped that the most.
constant fatigue, theres a decent chance thats your medication you are taking, lots of people feel like this at the start of taking medication , also your anxiety and everything can get worse for the start of it, so dont stop taking them if that happens becasue you will start to notice changes properly in about 2 or 3 weeks, on average, could also be because you are so tired and worried all the time, that you are fatigued.
headache, its tension headache from worry and anxiety, and its not hurting you or your brain. youll be okay, im still sufferign slightly with things and come on here for advice, but ive been through all of your symptoms and i am able to control them now, i hope this helps mate, sweet

hi, recently my anxiety has increased massively (over the last 3 months) and i have also had this pressure feeling in my head and started to google symptoms and of course the possibility of a brain tumor came up and i was convinced i had one and just wanted a brain scan so badly. i also think ive been experiencing depersobalization and derealization which i then thought i must be going crazy and developing psychosis. Im pretty sure this is just all anxiety. do u have intrsuive thoughts constantly about your health which makes u believe u have the condition?
