Anxiety sky high. Neurologist wants MRI

So worried. Had a horrible stressful time recently and the sole of my left foot went tingly 5 weeks ago. Saw a neurologist who has requested an MRIof the brain and spine. I'm petrified it is MS and I know that's what he is looking for. Now i am worried about this I have developed a weird to staying sensation in my pelvic bone. Could this alone stress related? I really hope so. MRI is Friday and results next Monday :-(

We all know that anxiety can have a crazy effect on our body. I know how you feel though. The problem is if we look up any symptom then we latch onto the worst thing possible. I know I do. I can't stop googling either. Its a vicious cycle. If it wasn't for Google then I wouldn't have convinced it doctor to refer me to a neurologist.

I'm so scared about the results on Monday that I keep wondering whether I should go on Friday for the mri but I know I rollout it to the back of my mind for a while and then it will reac it's ugly head and I will be panicking about the unknown again.
