Anxiety/stress sucks!!

I've been having headaches for almost a month now & they've mainly been on the top back part of my head & the side right by my ear on the left side of my head & it occasionally goes to my temple & to the right side of my head in the same spots some & yesterday & the day before I had a sharp pain hit the top part of my head on the right side by my ear just all of a sudden. My headaches are on & off throughout the day. I've been thinking it's a brain tumor but I've had a lot of people tell me that I'm basically crazy for thinking that because tumors cause other symptoms & not just headaches. The headaches are my only problem. I have been stressed out lately but apparently I've been stressed out more than I thought lately because I've had these headaches for almost a month. The headaches go from dull to kinda throbbing & sharp at times. My headaches never wake me from sleep or give me a hard time completely tasks at the house or anything. I went to the dr today to get checked out & he checked everything but my eyes. But I've had an eye exam already & they just said that the pressure in my eye has raised a bit but that's all. I'm not feeling sick (nausea or vomiting), I'm not having any numbness anywhere or anything. He said that I do have a lot of fluid in my ears but other than that he thinks I'm just fine & stressing out too much & I need to take it easy. My blood pressure is also high, 149/93!! Ugh, I hate anxiety!! Does anybody else have any of these problems or is it just me?

That's how my anxiety started, with headaches, 1 yr ago, now im just left with this head pressure 24/7, which obviously makes me think the worse lately making my anxiety become health anxiety and i start thinking the worse. i told my gp pain killers wasnt taking my pain bothersome feeling away she sent me to a nerurologist and they gave me gabapentin thinking it was a nerve pain but it didnt work and im now having meds withdrawl which only made my anxiety worse, and ive tried several antidepressants but they only make me worse too, so im giving all meds a break , clean out my body trying to live day by day, ive started doing yoga, hot baths at night, taking natural supplements for anxiety and riding this out for a long as i can....But yes headaches, head pressure, head tension, is all related to anxiety. I even had an mri of my head done and showed nothing. Doc told me its all anxiety related, and i had to find ways to destress. so thats what im trying to do. dont worry about it, the more you do the worse it will get. Try to find ways to calm yourself down. if you need to talk im always here.

Wow! That really sucks. I'm sorry you went through all of that. I never had a scan of my head done because I can't afford it but when I went to the dr, he told me that he seriously believes it's all anxiety related & I just need to calm down. After that, I haven't had any headaches for 3 days until yesterday but I was getting a little irritated & worried about stuff so that could've been due to that. Now for a few days, I've been having a heaviness feeling in my left arm & both of my legs. It's not numb because I can still feel everything being done to them. Shew, anxiety just really sucks. I'm trying my hardest to find ways to stay relaxed & it's easier said than done sometimes, especially when you have a 3 yr old that never wants to listen to you.. lol. Thank you so much hun, I'll be sure to keep that in mind.

Anxiety can cause headaches for extended periods. I have been dealing with this recently although I have some other symptoms as well. An increase in bp can also cause headaches and given you do not have other symptoms it could just be the bp.  Try some breathing exercises and work to get the bp under control

The only symptoms I had were the headaches & now I haven't had any headaches for 3 days until yesterday, but I was worried about some things & kinda irritated so that could've caused the headaches to come back yesterday. My bp is high (149/93). Now for a few days, I've had a heaviness feeling in my left arm & both legs that comes & goes. Not sure if that's due to the anxiety or not but I'm thinking it could be. Anxiety is the worst! I hate having it & I just wish I could get rid of it for good. I'm also trying to get my bp completely under control & see if that helps.
