relax, breathe and know its anxiety and that you in the end of the day are in control no matter how bad the anxiety gets it will never kill you or do what you fear its going to do!

Believe me I know the feeling !! I WAS 25 when it started . I also had every symptom you can imagine. But I found out the more anxious and fearful I became a worse the symptoms became. I learned that I have allowed fear to take over my life . this went on for years and years. I am a veteran of this started at 25 now I am in early 60s but I did learn along the way.
keep going to a therapist even if you start to feel better. You need the support right now.
take A more matter of fact attitude about anxiety and even the symptoms. I rarely get any sometimes now but if I do, I pretty much ignore them and they go away eventually. I don’t get scared or fearful like I used to because I know the symptoms cannot hurt me.
look at anxiety as a condition just like any other one....diabetes or high blood pressure, etc it may never completely go away but you can manage it so that you can live with more peace. The therapist should be able to help you there.
So, when you get the symptoms, lie down and let them do their worst. listen to a meditation on YouTube for anxiety. There are many great ones on there and they really relaxed me to the point of my symptoms reducing or going away. Great one for proper breathing on YouTube . Search for “stop panic attacks now“ then scroll down and look for “don’t panic“.
your Going to be OK but you have to work at this daily. Some days will be better than others but be a fighter for yourself and don’t give up. going to be OK but you have to work at this daily. Some days will be better than others but be a fighter for yourself and don’t give up. It’s not the symptoms that are the problem it’s the underlying unmanaged anxiety creates the symptoms. Any anxiety symptoms cannot hurt you. Remember that.

hi jan, thank you for your kind words! You literally made me cry! I feel so sad all the time because i wish my husband and mother really understood what im going through! but instead all they do is say how all i do is complain!! about how awful i feel and how im always in a bad mood!! it really depresses me!
Beleive me if id let it get to me i wouldnt leave my house! But everyday i tell myself its only anxiety and i go to work and are at work feeling miserable all day! and when i get home all i want to do is sleep! but i have to tend to my kids! its really really hard!! i wont take meds as ive become fearful of them! ive been trying to try cbd but everytime i take it i get a full blown panic attack that lasts for hours! and then eventually have a huge comedown!

How about a nice long hot bath?
Is it anywhere near 5 PM where you live so you could have a glass of wine, too?
Always relaxes me. Maybe play some nice music also.
Is there something special you are anxious about?

I have been on terrible anxiety for 6 months: head pains 24/7, chest pain most of the day, very tired, could not sleep. And then, I got into depression. It was terrible. I was afraid to take antidepression because I did not like side effects of them. I tried everything non-medical to control my anxiety, but I could not do it. I was off work many days, then I was worry loosing my job, etc... , My anxiety and depression got worse. Finally, I decided I must to be strong, get up and take care of my family. So, I have taken an antidepressant for 4 months. I have not feel "normal", yet. I still have chest and head pains, but not intense.

They gave me Alprazolam 0.5 mg 3 times per day as needed. In day time, I took half of pill. Before going to bed, I took 1 pill because anxiety made me cannot sleep. And, I started Cymbalta 20 mg for 5 weeks, then up to 30 mg for 6 weeks, then 60 mg, then now I am at 90 mg for 4 weeks. I feel better, but I still have anxiety, so I take 1/4 pill in day time. After started Alprazolam for 12 weeks, my Psychiatrist gave me Ambien to sleep, so I don't take Alprazolam every night.
Alprazolam help with anxiety alot until long term medication kick in. Primary doctor does not want to give a lot of Alprazolam. You should go see a psychiatrist, but if you don't have your psychiatrist yet, you might have to wait for a few weeks. In the mean time, you should go see your primary doctor.
When anxiety affects your daily life, you should take a medication.

One more thing, some doctors do not want to give you benzo medication (xanax, altivan,... ) until you have anxiety attacks or very bad anxiety that affects your daily life. So, it's up to you to make your doctor think you should have benzo medication. I hope you will feel better.
