Anxiety Symptoms

I have recently had a off an on cough that's getting on my nerves. However, does anyone else with anxiety feels like there is something in there throat. It's kind of like a tickle that urges you to cough. I'm just so concerned about the cough because I have off and on chest pains. But the tickle is right in my throat. Is this part of anxiety? This is all so new to me.

    Hi Tamantha,

Could it be heartburn? Are you drinking enough water? I get that sometimes, so I drink two big glasses of water and it often goes away.  The chest pain, can be lots of things, for one, low potassium, but always get that checked cuz you can take too much and cause harm  Or maybe you are coming down with a bug? And yes, sometimes it is just anxiety smile  DO you have other symptoms?

Hi tamantha yes I have that now that is one of my many anxiety symptoms , and I too was concerned , then I read up on a anxiety symptoms list and it mentioned a nervous cough which could be persistent , off and on or chronic or mild but not dangerous and if it was something serious it would be consistent and not on and off

I have my cough almost everyday but not heavy along with some chest pains. The chest pains aren't bad but off and on a little bit. I have had several EKGs and chest xrays at different emergency rooms but they always come out normal. I also had a cat scan from the chest cavity down but that also came back normal. As far as blood work all I had was several CBCs and Chemical blood test, all normal. My most recent on my wbc where a little but it didn't concern my GP but I am so anxious about it even though he said don't worry.
