Hey All, some of you May of seen my other post about my lines and wether it's from anxiety or not I have some anxiety from worrying about it. Anyways I was wondering what are some symptoms from anxiety? My gp is all booked up for 3 weeks now. Also what foods make anxiety worst and what excersises help relieve it? I read from a few posts that ppl get dissy... is that vertigo or lightheaded. Also does anybody find it hard to focus? Or feel hot like a fever? I do unless I grab top part of my nose. Anyways feel free to comment on your symptoms or side effects from anxiety. It runs in my family but I'm starting to think I may have some now as well.

For shortness of breath there is a certain breathing style that helps the best. They teach this in an approach called mindfulness. What you do is take in a slow long deep breath through your nose, making sure your stomach roses…then blowout through your lips slowly like you're blowing out a candle. Well you're breathing in and out, think of how the air feels. Is it warm? Is it cool? The purpose for this is to take you away from anxious thoughts and focus on your breathing. Do this every time you have negative or anxious thoughts.
all anxiety begins in the brain. So the key is to calm down the brain to calm the rest of the body down.
There are some great audios on YouTube for anxiety, proper breathing technique, getting good sleep, etc. just do a search for whichever one you want. The ones on anxiety teach you how to separate negative thoughts from yourself, decreasing anxiety, etc. I am totally relaxed and my breathing slows way down as well as my heart rate.
I think they could really help you. I like to use earbuds and lie down to listen. There are so many audio meditations on YouTube just pick the ones you like. Hope you feel better.

Any kind of exercise will help to relieve anxiety. The main thing is moving the body to release a feel-good hormones in the brain. You may want to avoid any product with caffeine in it, alcohol makes anxiety worse , Stay away from refined sugar because it causes inflammation including in the brain which can worsen anxiety.
keep in mind that any symptoms caused by anxiety cannot hurt you! Many of the symptoms are due to the brain releasing adrenaline when you are anxious. Such as increased heart rate. So you are feeling the effects of that hormone.
there are some great audio meditations on YouTube for anxiety, depression, sleep and so on. I think they could really help you as they did me. Just do a search for anxiety meditation etc. there are many to choose from.
Main thing is that you want to calm down the brain because anxiety begins there.
and I calm down my brain, my whole body calms down in my symptoms diminish or go away. Try to stay calm when you get symptoms because if you get more anxious, the brain will release more adrenaline and you'll feel more anxiety.
just try to keep busy, do things you enjoy, don't overthink this, stay social, hope you feel better

Ok thanks for all the info. I suddenly got sick last year ( not sure if anxiety) but I think we worrying about my sickness and getting anxiety has made it worst or to never go away. Can anxiety suddenly make u feel very warm like burning in your legs/like u have a fever but u don't. My big fear is I get lightheaded at work and have to leave or faint as sometimes I work at heights but I think me worrying about it is making it worst. I feel much better outside though. When you guys say stay active? Should u fight your body if u feel tired?
