Anxiety Symptoms: Strained/Hoarse Voice

Posted , 3 users are following.

I've spent the past 6 months with a litany of anxiety symptoms—each scarier than the first.

Numbness. Tingling. Twitching. Muscle pain and joint stiffness. Hot flashes and redness. Dizziness.

Now for the past month, I've had something new arise: a strained, hoarse voice.

Sometimes it gets a bit better. Other times it sounds squeezed or like I'm talking through a tin can.

Has anyone else experienced this? It's not one of the usual suspects that people talk about. I've been terrified of every possible neurological condition for a long time. And I'm just plain exhausted of all these different things popping up.

    Hi there,

Yes, I've had this a few times within the past year more or less. It's just plain odd. I'm also afraid I've got some kind of neuro disease. I'm not living, I'm simply existing.

Sorry I'm of no help. But just wanted to let you know you're not alone on this one x

I super appreciate the validation. I know exactly what you mean on the "not living but existing." I wouldn't wish the way that I feel on anyone. Hope there are better days on the horizon for us both.
